Drop-in programs
Visit ActiveWaterloo to register for drop-in programs.
RC flyers is located in RIM Park Field House 1 and 2. The schedule is Tuesdays and Fridays (starting October 3) from 9:30 to 11:20 a.m. Register on ActiveWaterloo.
Bring your own equipment and enjoy the company of other enthusiasts! Participants must have valid Model Aeronautics Association of Canada insurance.

Registered programs

Indoor amenities
RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex has four Olympic-sized ice pads (100' x 200') with 20 large dressing rooms with showers. The Piller's Rink has 500 seats and the Optimist's and Lions rinks have 250 seats.
The fourth rink, the Carolyn Fedy Skating Centre, is home to the Kitchener-Waterloo Skating Club, and has an attached fitness centre.

The indoor field house has grass-like turf and can be one full field or divided into three smaller fields.
There are two NBA-sized gymnasiums that divide into four single gyms. They have sprung maple floors for shock absorption and a stage, with 600 spectator seats
RIM Park Manulife Sportsplex works as a community centre offering nine meeting rooms that can accommodate 30 to 80 people.

The Benchwarmer Sports Bar in an onsite, licensed restaurant that is open during peak programming times. It has a wide range of menu items and an outdoor patio during the summer.
There is also main concession stand and coffee shop for snacks and light meals. It's open during peak programming times.
Outdoor amenities
RIM Park has two international-sized turf fields and four natural grass fields, all with lighting. Player benches, spectator seating, washroom facilities, accessible parking, and playgrounds are nearby.
The park has six baseball diamonds, three of which have lighting. Gender-neutral washrooms, spectator seating and playgrounds are nearby.
The park has a sand beach volleyball court on the west side near diamond three.
The RIM Park Bike Park consists of two asphalt pump tracks, one for beginners and one for intermediate and advanced riders. Bikes, scooters and skateboards are allowed on both tracks. Gender-neutral washrooms and parking are nearby. Learn more on the bike and skate park page.
The Walter Bean Grand River Trail runs through RIM Park for 11km. Walking and cross-country skiing are popular activities. Visit our trail map to learn more.

Most spaces at RIM Park are available for rent. From small meetings to weddings, sports tournaments and trade shows, the facility offers flexible spaces that can suit many needs.
